How tight is the Rental Market in Phoenix?
I just acquired a Client who needs to rent a home. She wants it on the west side since that is where she works. She is looking for a 4 Bed 2 Story with a Loft for under $1,800/month. Tall order in this market. I found 1 unit available. When I go up to $2,000/month, I found 4 more. This market is red hot on fire, including rentals. In fact, rental permits have out paced single family permits 3 to 1.
I now have the added pressure, that her current Landlord has sold the rental home and she has 30 days to get out. This puts huge pressure on me to find this nice family a home. So I am at break neck speed. Normally, I don’t handle rentals other than my own. In this case, she was a referral from a personal friend and therefore, I am treating her as a personal friend. This is the kind of care you will get when buying or selling thru me.
